Brewing Notes: Mash went perfectly. Started @ 154, was at 153 with 40 min left, 152 with 20 min left, 152 when I started to drain. Added 15 qts water at 190 which brought it to 169. let it sit 8 minutes & drained. Boiled as normal, chilled to 67 and pitched yeast.
The session says that there was 5.5 gallons - in fact its more like 5.25 - I did not account for the wort held on to by the hops when calculating water needed. Gotta be better about this in the future.

Transferred to secondary 11/16. SG - 1.012. Added dry hops at this point

Bottled 11/9/09. Yield = 4.75 gallons. Primed w. 4.48oz priming sugar to 2.75 atmospheres.
Tasting Notes: Tupalev says: " your IPA is heaven. Huge aroma. Nice hop kick in taste. Perfect body. Carbonation is right where it should be (maybe just a tad more). Simcoe-rrific! "
